Learn how to dispatch a job from the mobile app using your company fleet or available subhaulers.

My Fleet or Subhaulers?
Dispatch a job straight from the TruckIT mobile app — no need to open the web portal. Before assigning trucks, decide which truck source you need.
My Fleet
Trucks owned or managed by your company.
Subhaulers
Trucks from a third-party hauling partner — use when you need extra capacity or want to give the work to a partner.
Open the Project and Payload
1. Open the project. In the TruckIT mobile app, go to Projects and select the project you want to dispatch.
2. Start the dispatch. Find the payload you want to use and tap its dispatch option. Review the project and payload first so the job is created from the correct setup.
Note: dispatching from the mobile app requires contractor or dispatcher access, and the project must already have a payload. If you don’t see dispatch options, contact your company administrator or TruckIT Support.
Assign Trucks
Dispatch to My Fleet
1. On the dispatch screen, select My Fleet.
2. Select the truck or trucks you want to assign, then confirm.
3. Review the job details and save or submit the dispatch.
Dispatch to Subhaulers
1. On the dispatch screen, select Subhaulers and choose the subhauler.
2. Select the truck or trucks needed for the job, then confirm.
3. Review the job details and save or submit the dispatch.
Once saved, the selected trucks are assigned to the job.
Review Before Dispatching
Before you save or submit, confirm:
• The correct project and payload are selected
• The truck source (My Fleet or Subhaulers) and selected trucks are correct
• The job date and start time are correct
• Pickup and drop-off sites are correct
• Job quantity or units are correct
• Any job notes or driver instructions are complete

Best Practices
• Use Subhaulers only when the hauling partner should receive the work
• Add clear job notes if drivers or haulers need special instructions
• Avoid dispatching from the field if project or payload details look incomplete
• Contact dispatch or an admin if the right truck or subhauler is missing

Tip: assigned trucks may receive job information as soon as the dispatch is saved — take a moment to review truck assignments before you tap save.
