Troubleshoot Common TruckIT Portal Issues

Try these basic browser steps if the TruckIT Portal is not loading, updating, or working as expected.

Use this article if the TruckIT Portal is not loading, displaying correctly, updating, or working as expected.

Most portal issues can be resolved by refreshing your browser session, clearing saved browser data, or logging back in.

Before you start

Make sure you are using the TruckIT Portal in a supported web browser.

If you see an error message, take a screenshot before refreshing or clearing your browser data. This can help TruckIT Support review the issue if it continues.

Step 1: Log out and log back in

If you are already logged in to the TruckIT Portal, log out first.

Then log back in with your TruckIT username and password.

This helps refresh your portal session.

Step 2: Clear your browser cache and cookies

Clear your browser cache and cookies if the portal is showing old information, not loading correctly, or behaving unexpectedly.

In most browsers:

  1. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  2. Go to History.
  3. Select Clear browsing data.
  4. Choose All time.
  5. Select Cache and Cookies.
  6. Click Clear data.
  7. Log back in to the TruckIT Portal.

Step 3: Perform a hard refresh

A hard refresh forces your browser to reload the latest version of the page.

Use one of these shortcuts while the TruckIT Portal page is open:

Step 4: Try the action again

After logging back in, return to the page where the issue happened and try the action again.

For example, try reopening the job, loading the dashboard, downloading tickets, saving the change, or using the button that was not responding.

When to contact TruckIT Support

Contact TruckIT Support if the issue continues after you:

  • Logged out and back in
  • Cleared cache and cookies
  • Performed a hard refresh
  • Tried the action again

When contacting support, include:

  • What you were trying to do
  • What happened instead
  • The page or feature you were using
  • Your browser
  • A screenshot or screen recording, if possible
