Add or Archive a Team Member in the TruckIT Mobile App

Learn how to add a team member from the mobile app and archive users who no longer need active access.

Use this article to add a new team member or archive an existing team member from the TruckIT mobile app.

The My Team section helps users with the right access manage team members while using the mobile app. You can add a new user, complete their details, and archive users who should no longer appear as active team members.

Before you begin

Make sure you have:

  • Logged in to the TruckIT mobile app
  • Access to team management features
  • The new team member’s required information
  • Permission to add or archive users

If you do not see My Team, the plus icon, or the archive option, contact your company administrator or TruckIT Support.

Before adding a team member, confirm the person’s:

  • First and last name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Role or access type
  • Any company-required user details

 Add a team member

1. Open the TruckIT mobile app.

 

2.  Tap My Team

 

3.  Tap the plus icon

 

4.  Enter the team member’s information. 

5. Tap Next

 

6.  Submit the final details. 

7. Tap Done

The new team member should now be added to your team list. 

Confirm the user was added

After tapping Done, return to My Team and confirm the new user appears in the list.

Check that the user’s name and details are correct. If something is wrong, edit the user if your permissions allow it, or contact your company administrator.

Archive a team member

Archive a user when they should no longer appear as an active team member.

1. Open the TruckIT mobile app.
 
2. Tap your profile.
 
3. Tap My Team.


4. Find the user you want to archive.
 
5. Slide the user to the left.
 
6. Tap Archive.
 
7. Tap Confirm.
 

 

8. Return to My Team and confirm the user was archived correctly.

When to archive a team member

Archive a team member when they should no longer be active in TruckIT.

Common reasons include:

  • The user no longer works with your company
  • The user no longer needs mobile app access
  • The user was added by mistake
  • The user changed roles
  • The user should no longer appear in active team lists

Before archiving a user, confirm they do not need access to current or upcoming work.

  • Add team members with accurate contact information.
  • Confirm the correct role or access type before saving.
  • Avoid duplicate users.
  • Archive users who no longer need access.

Troubleshooting

I do not see My Team

Your account may not have permission to manage team members from the mobile app. Contact your company administrator or TruckIT Support.

I do not see the plus icon

You may not have permission to add users. Contact your company administrator.

I entered the wrong information

Open the user and update the details if your permissions allow it. If you cannot edit the user, contact your company administrator.

I cannot archive a user

Confirm you are sliding the user to the left from the My Team list. If the archive option still does not appear, your account may not have permission to archive users.

I archived the wrong user

Contact your company administrator or TruckIT Support so they can help review the user’s access.
