Troubleshoot Common TruckIT Mobile App Issues

Try these basic steps if the TruckIT Mobile App is not loading, updating, or working as expected.

Use this article if the TruckIT Mobile App is not loading, updating, displaying correctly, or working as expected.

Most mobile app issues can be resolved by updating the app, refreshing the app session, clearing cached data, or reinstalling the app.

Before you start

Make sure you know your TruckIT username and password before deleting or reinstalling the app.

If you see an error message, take a screenshot or screen recording before closing the app. This can help TruckIT Support review the issue if it continues.

Step 1: Check for app updates

Make sure you are using the latest version of the TruckIT Mobile App.

  1. Open the App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Search for TruckIT Mobile.
  3. If an update is available, install it.
  4. Open the app and try again.

Step 2: Close and reopen the app

Close the TruckIT Mobile App completely, then reopen it.

This can help when a screen is frozen, information is not updating, or a button is not responding.

Step 3: Clear cache on Android

If you are using an Android device, clear the TruckIT app cache.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Apps.
  3. Select TruckIT.
  4. Tap Storage & cache.
  5. Tap Clear Cache.

Clear Storage removes all app data, including settings and login information. Use that option carefully because you may need to log back in.

Step 4: Delete and reinstall on iPhone

iOS does not provide the same individual app cache-clearing option as Android. For iPhone users, delete and reinstall the app.

  1. Press and hold the TruckIT app icon.
  2. Tap Remove App.
  3. Tap Delete App.
  4. Re-download TruckIT Mobile from the App Store.
  5. Log back in.

Step 5: Reinstall the app as a last resort

If updating, closing the app, and clearing cache do not fix the issue, uninstall and reinstall the app.

Before uninstalling, make sure you know your TruckIT username and password.

When to contact TruckIT Support

Contact TruckIT Support if the issue continues after you:

  • Updated the app
  • Closed and reopened the app
  • Cleared cache on Android
  • Deleted and reinstalled the app, if needed
  • Logged back in and tried again

When contacting support, include:

  • What you were trying to do
  • What happened instead
  • The screen or feature you were using
  • Your device type: iPhone or Android
  • A screenshot or screen recording, if possible
