What’s New

Dispatch & TruckIT Portal

  • Removed “Un-Reconcile” Button for Inspectors.
    What it is:
Inspectors will no longer see the Un-Reconcile button on tickets, as this action isn’t available for their role.
Why you’ll care: It prevents errors and confusion by ensuring only authorized users can perform reconciliation changes.

  • Configurable Dynamic Geofence for Paver.
What it is: You can now configure the shape and size of dynamic geofences created by paver trackers. Choose between circular or rectangular geofences and set custom dimensions, even when the “heading” field isn’t available.
Why you’ll care: This flexibility allows you to tailor geofence settings to your job requirements, improving accuracy for in-motion tracking and reducing unnecessary alerts.

  • User Role Update.
    What it is:
We’ve removed the unused “Sub trucker” role, and updated the “Customer” role name to “Contractor.”
Why you’ll care: This simplifies user roles and makes naming clearer, ensuring roles better reflect their purpose in your workflow.

Suggested action: Review your current workflows and update any internal documentation to reflect the new role naming (Contractor) and the removal of the Un-Reconcile button for Inspectors. For jobs using paver tracking, configure your dynamic geofence settings to match your operational needs for better accuracy.

Quality-of-Life Fixes

  • Show ‘Reason: Truck is Changed’ in Push Notifications:
When a job is paused because the driver switched trucks, the push notification now clearly shows the reason: “Truck is changed.” This gives you immediate clarity on why a job was paused.

  • Ticket Count Updates After Linking Lite Ticket:
When a Lite ticket is linked to a job, the ticket count now updates correctly instead of reflecting the archived Lite ticket.

  • “Undefined” in Notifications Feed:
We fixed an issue where users without a last name appeared as “Undefined” in the notifications feed. Now, only the first name is shown, making notifications clear and accurate without confusing placeholders.

  • New Site Creation can't tap "create" (Mobile App):
We resolved an issue on the mobile app (Android and iOS) where the “Create” button stayed grayed out even after all fields were filled.

What you might want to do

  • Review:
Log in to the web portal and verify the updates and fixes.

  • Update Mobile App:
Make sure your team is using the latest version to access new tools and fixes.

  • Recommendation:
Inform your team of these changes. For jobs using paver tracking, consider setting custom geofence dimensions to improve accuracy and reduce unnecessary alerts.
