What’s New

Dispatch & TruckIT Portal

  • Geo-fences creation on sites that are not used on a job.
    What it is:
You can choose to publish geofence entry/exit events to an SQS queue for integration with other systems. Events include details like site, truck, driver, timestamp, and coordinates.
Why you’ll care: This makes it easy to automate workflows or trigger alerts in your own systems using real-time geofence data

  • Edit Sub-Driver Rate on Tickets (Feature).
    What it is:
You can now edit the sub-driver rate directly on a ticket. Previously, sub-haulers set these rates themselves, but now you can adjust them as needed.
Why you’ll care: This gives your company better control over ticket-level costs and ensures accurate billing and reconciliation, especially when rates change after dispatch.

  • Add Truck Name to the TicPic report.
What it is: The TicPic PDF report now includes the truck name and number alongside job and ticket details.
Why you’ll care: This makes it easier to identify which truck handled each load, improving clarity for reporting and reconciliation.

  • Search by Phone Number in My Team
What it is: You can now search for team members by their phone number in the My Team section.
Why you’ll care: Finding the right person is faster and easier, especially when you only have their phone number handy.

  • Project and Payload Drafts
What it is: You can now save incomplete projects and payloads as drafts without filling all required fields. Drafts are clearly marked and can be edited anytime before going live by simply clicking on “Save as draft.”
Why you’ll care: This lets you start setting up projects or payloads without rushing to complete every detail. When ready, simply fill in the required fields and click “Save.”

  • Pricing Engine: Flexible UoM Handling (Feature).
    What it is:
You can now select different units of measure (UoMs) for requested quantity, customer rate, driver rate, and hauler rate. Options include ton, load, hour, cubic meter, or custom UoM. Plus, you can control how drivers enter quantities—manually, automatically, or based on truck capacity.
Why you’ll care: This gives you full flexibility to price jobs accurately, even when different parties use different UoMs. It also simplifies setup by auto-prefilling UoMs and preventing invalid combinations.

Suggested action: Explore new tools to streamline your workflow! Edit sub-driver rates directly on tickets for better cost control, and use drafts for projects and payloads to save work in progress. Plus, enjoy improved flexibility with UoM handling and easier searches by your team’s phone number.

Mobile Apps (Driver, Contractor, Inspector)

  • Edit Sub-Driver Rate on Tickets (Feature).
    What it is:
Now you can edit the sub-driver rate on a ticket through the Mobile App as well.
Why it helps: Having this option on the Mobile App gives you better control across platforms.

Action: Ask drivers and contractors to update to the latest TruckIT mobile app to see these changes.

Quality-of-Life Fixes

  • “Invite Hauler” Message Updated (Web Portal):

The email sent when inviting a hauler to create their sub-hauler account now includes clearer instructions and first steps. This reduces confusion and time to onboard.

  • AirTicket Lite “Finally Reconciled” Status for Own Fleet (Web Portal):

When the job owner and truck owner are the same company, AirTicket Lite tickets now show the “Finally Reconciled” status during reconciliation.

  • Single Sign-On Login on Android (Mobile App):

Clicking the Single Sign-On (SSO)button previously kept users on the login page. Now, users can log in seamlessly using SSO on Android devices, just like on other platforms.

What you might want to do

  • Search the Resource Center:
Example: Search "Custom Fields" for training on how to use and apply this feature.

  • Review:
Take a minute to explore the new search and ticket linking features in the Web Portal. They are built to save time and also cut down on confusion during reconciliation and reporting.

  • Update Mobile App:
Make sure your team is running the latest version to get access to all the new tools and fixes.

  • Recommendation:
Start using Custom Fields more actively — they’re now fully searchable and easier to manage than ever.
