The My Jobs section helps you review job details, tickets, truck activity, driver communication, job status, and performance metrics from one place.
Before you begin
Make sure you are logged in to the TruckIT Web Portal.
You may need permission to view jobs, tickets, trucks, and driver communication. If you do not see Jobs, My Jobs, or the job details described in this article, contact your company administrator or TruckIT Support.
Before monitoring a job, confirm the:
- Job date or date range
- Project or job order
- Job status
- Truck or driver you want to review, if applicable
- Issue or activity you are trying to investigate
Open My Jobs
- Log in to the TruckIT Web Portal.
- Go to Jobs.
- Select My Jobs, if it is not already selected.
The My Jobs page shows a list of your jobs.
Search or filter jobs
Use the left-side filters to find the job you want to review.
You can search or filter jobs by:
- Date range
- Active jobs
- Not started jobs
- Closed jobs
- Pending jobs
You can also use the search bar to search within the job list.
Once you find the job you want to review, click the job to open its summary.
Review the job summary
The job summary gives you a quick overview of the selected job.
From the summary, you can review:
- Job details
- Ticket activity
- Trucks assigned to the job
- Pickup and drop-off locations
- Job notes
- Job analytics
- Driver activity
- Current job status
Use this section to understand what is happening on the job before taking action.
Manage the job
Depending on your permissions and the job status, you may be able to take action from the job summary.
Common job actions include:
- Edit the job
- View tickets associated with the job
- Close the job to prevent additional loads
- Message drivers assigned to the job
Use these actions carefully, especially when closing a job or changing details after work has already started.
View tickets for the job
From the job summary, review all tickets associated with the selected job.
Use ticket activity to confirm:
- Tickets are being created as expected
- Loads are being captured
- Ticket totals match job activity
- There are no obvious missing or unusual ticket records
If you need a broader ticket review or export, use the Tickets section under Reporting and Analytics.
Message drivers on the job
Use the message option to communicate with drivers assigned to the specific job.
This can be helpful when you need to:
- Share updated job instructions
- Clarify pickup or drop-off details
- Ask about job progress
- Notify drivers about site changes
- Follow up on ticket or load activity
Keep driver messages short, clear, and specific.
Use the job map
The job map helps you monitor the job visually.
On the map, you can see:
- Pickup site
- Drop-off site
- Recommended route
- Trucks assigned to the job
- Truck status indicators
The pickup site appears as a green pin, and the drop-off site appears as a red pin.
Review truck status
Truck status indicators help you understand what trucks are doing on the job.
Use truck status to see whether trucks are:
- Heading to pickup
- Heading to drop-off
- Online
- Not started yet
You can hover over an individual truck to view more details, including the truck number, driver, and job number.
Review job analytics
Below the job map, review the job analytics.
Depending on your setup and available site data, you may see:
- Tons delivered
- Loads delivered
- Total job cost so far
- Average time spent at pickup
- Average time spent at drop-off
- Average turn time
- Truck-level tons, loads, and turn time
These metrics can help you understand job progress, identify delays, and compare truck performance.
Note: Some analytics may depend on alert zones being built out in your sites.
Review pickup, drop-off, and job details
At the bottom of the job summary, review the job’s setup details.
This may include:
- Pickup location
- Drop-off location
- Job details
- Job notes
- Instructions added when the job was created
Use this section to confirm that the job information matches what drivers and dispatchers expect.
Review the Trucks tab
Next to Summary, open the Trucks tab to view the trucks assigned to the job.
This tab may show:
- Trucks assigned to the job
- Start time in the system
- Expected turn time for the work
Use this tab when you need to review which trucks are working the job and how they were scheduled.

Use My Jobs throughout the day to stay ahead of job, truck, and ticket issues.
Recommended best practices:
- Start by filtering to the correct date and job status.
- Open the job summary before taking action.
- Review ticket activity during the job, not only at the end of the day.
- Use the job map to check truck flow between pickup and drop-off.
- Hover over trucks to confirm driver and job details.
- Watch analytics for long pickup time, drop-off time, or turn time.
- Use driver messaging for short, actionable updates.
- Confirm tickets before closing a job.
- Review the Trucks tab if truck assignment or timing looks off.
Troubleshooting
I cannot find the job
Check the date range and job status filters. The job may be active, not started, closed, or pending.
I do not see tickets on the job
Confirm that tickets have been created for the selected job. If ticket activity is missing, review the assigned trucks and driver activity.
The map does not show the trucks I expected
Confirm that the trucks are assigned to the job and have started work. Also check whether the truck is online or has not started yet.
Job analytics do not look complete
Some analytics may depend on alert zones being set up for your sites. Confirm that the job has the correct pickup and drop-off sites and that site zones are configured as needed.
I need to stop additional loads
Use the option to close the job if your permissions allow it. Closing the job prevents additional loads from being added.
I need to update the job
Use the edit option from the job summary if your permissions allow it. Review any changes carefully before saving.
