Grid View helps dispatchers quickly see which trucks are available in each truck type category. This is useful when a job requires specific equipment or when you want a faster way to review truck availability before assigning trucks to a job.
Before you begin
Make sure you are logged in to the TruckIT Web Portal.
You may need permission to dispatch jobs. If you do not see Dispatch, Grid, or truck type categories, contact your company administrator or TruckIT Support.
Before using Grid View, confirm:
- The project you want to dispatch
- The payload for the job
- The truck type or equipment needed
- Which trucks are available
- Whether the payload requires a specific truck type
Open the dispatch screen
1. Go to the Dispatch tab.Selecting a project and payload creates the job order setup so you can begin assigning trucks.
Switch to Grid View
1. On the dispatch screen, click Grid.2. Review the truck type categories shown in the grid.

I do not see the Grid option
Your account may not have access to this dispatch view, or your user role may not have permission to dispatch jobs. Contact your company administrator or TruckIT Support.
I do not see the truck type I need
Check whether that truck type exists in your account and whether trucks have been assigned to that truck type.
I clicked a truck type, but no trucks appear
There may not be any available trucks for that truck type. Check your fleet setup, active assignments, regions, and truck availability.
The truck I need is not showing
The truck may not match the selected truck type, may be unavailable, may be assigned to another job, or may be hidden by a region filter.
I selected the wrong truck type
Return to the truck type list in Grid View and choose the correct category before saving the job.
