Find, Filter, and Export Tickets in the TruckIT Portal (video)

Learn how to view ticket data, filter tickets by date, material, unit of measure, or status, and export tickets for billing or reporting.

Use this article to view, filter, and export ticket data from the TruckIT Web Portal.

The Tickets section helps your team review ticket activity, search for specific ticket records, filter tickets by date or status, and download ticket data for billing, invoicing, reporting, or offline review.

Before you begin

Make sure you are logged in to the TruckIT Web Portal.

You may need permission to access reporting and ticket data. If you do not see Reporting and Analytics or Tickets, contact your company administrator or TruckIT Support.

Before exporting tickets, confirm the date range and ticket details your team needs to review.

Open the Tickets section

  1. Log in to the TruckIT Web Portal.
  2. Go to Reporting and Analytics.
  3. Select Tickets.

The Reporting and Analytics section may also include other options, such as Truck Activity and Reporting. For ticket exports, use the Tickets section.

Choose a ticket date range

Use the date range selector to find the tickets you want to review.

  1. In the Tickets section, choose the date range you want to view.
  2. Wait for TruckIT to load the ticket results.
  3. Review the ticket summary at the top of the page.
  4. Scroll down to view the full ticket list for the selected date range.

Choosing the right date range helps make sure your export includes the correct tickets.

Review the ticket summary

After selecting a date range, TruckIT displays a ticket summary.

The summary can help you quickly review ticket activity by material before looking at individual ticket records.

Use the summary to check whether the selected date range looks correct before exporting data.

Search for specific tickets

Use the search bar when you need to find a specific ticket, project, material, driver, truck, or related ticket detail.

Search can help narrow the ticket list when you are looking for a specific record instead of reviewing all tickets in the selected date range.

Filter ticket results

Use the filter button next to the search bar to narrow your ticket results.

Common filters may include:

  • Unit of measure
  • Ticket status
  • Material
  • Project
  • Driver
  • Truck
  • Pickup location
  • Drop-off location

Filters help your team focus on the tickets that matter for billing, reconciliation, reporting, or review.

Review ticket details

Before exporting, review the visible ticket details to confirm the data is accurate.

Ticket data may include:

  • Ticket number
  • Weight
  • Unit of measure
  • Project
  • Job
  • Driver
  • Truck
  • Pickup location
  • Drop-off location
  • Ticket status
  • Other related ticket information

This review step is especially important if the export will be used for billing or invoicing.

Export tickets to a CSV file

After you have selected the right date range and applied any needed filters:

  1. Go to the upper-right corner of the Tickets page.
  2. Click the Download Tickets Report button. This button appears as a downward-facing arrow.
  3. TruckIT will download the ticket data as a CSV file.
  4. Open the file offline or import it into another system, such as a billing or invoicing program.

Best practices before exporting tickets

Before downloading a ticket report, check the following:

  • The date range is correct.
  • The filters are correct.
  • The ticket status matches what you need.
  • The project and material selections are accurate.
  • The export includes the tickets needed for billing or reporting.
  • Any missing or unusual tickets have been reviewed.

A quick review before export can reduce billing delays, duplicate work, and manual cleanup.

When to export ticket data

Export ticket data when your team needs to:

  • Prepare billing or invoices
  • Reconcile completed work
  • Review material quantities
  • Share ticket data with accounting
  • Import ticket data into another system
  • Review ticket activity offline
  • Create internal reports
  • Investigate missing or incomplete ticket records

Troubleshooting

I do not see the Tickets section

Your user role may not have permission to access ticket reporting. Contact your company administrator or TruckIT Support.

Check the selected date range first. Then review any search terms or filters that may be narrowing the results.

My export does not include all tickets

Confirm that your date range and filters are set correctly before downloading the report.

I cannot open the downloaded file

The ticket report downloads as a CSV file. Open it with a spreadsheet tool or import it into the system your team uses for billing, invoicing, or reporting.
